For current reasons, we would like to draw your attention once again to the two IBM security bulletins on the Apache log4j vulnerability.

IBM Cognos Analytics

IBM’s research has revealed that IBM Cognos Analytics is affected, for which a solution (fix) has already been released.

IBM Planning Analytics

IBM’s research has shown that IBM Planning Analytics only affects the workspace (PAW) for which a solution (fix) has already been released.

Other components of Planning Analytics are not affected.

IBM Quote: “Within IBM Planning Analytics 2.0, only the IBM Planning Analytics Workspace component of IBM Planning Analytics is affected…”

Please note:

IBM Support also points out that access to CA and PA should onlybe set up for authenticated users and CA and PA behind the firewall.

This is usually the default configuration in the company.
